About the Role:

Goldman Sachs is hiring an Analyst in Client Onboarding Technology to join their Global Banking & Markets division in Bengaluru. This role is perfect for early-career software engineers who want to build large-scale, high-performance systems in the financial services domain.

Client Onboarding Engineering is a critical team that focuses on speeding up and improving the onboarding process of Goldman Sachs clients. The team builds platforms for KYC Due Diligence (AML), Regulatory & Product Due Diligence, entity assessments, account opening services, and client lifecycle management.

You’ll work on process automation, document digitization using NLP, and data-driven onboarding workflows while collaborating with teams across compliance, business, and global operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, extend, and optimize client onboarding workflows using modern technologies.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
• Work on machine learning integration (NLP, deep learning, automation).
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver efficient client services.
• Participate in the full SDLC – from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Gain domain knowledge in AML/KYC processes and financial crime compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience in Core Java (JDK 8+), Spring framework, REST APIs.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of databases (DB2, Sybase, MongoDB).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a global agile team setup.
